The turbocharged engine is available with a 6-speed manual transmission or an Xtronic CVT-M6 CVT with manual gear shift. As standard, the car is equipped with a 1.6 liter petrol engine. with a power of 117 hp, which is available with both a 5-speed manual transmission and an Xtronic CVT. For the European market, a diesel engine with a displacement of 1.5 liters, a power of 81 kW (110 hp) and a common-rail system is offered. This power unit provides the Juke with excellent dynamics thanks to its impressive torque (240 Nm) and is characterized by good fuel efficiency and low exhaust emissions.
The car is equipped with either front-wheel drive or ALL MODE 4X4-i all-wheel drive with the advanced TORQUE VECTOR torque vectoring system. This system improves vehicle handling and reduces understeer on turns. Along with the redistribution of torque between the front and rear axles in a 50:50 ratio, this system distributes it between the wheels of different sides. As for the front-wheel drive modifications, they come with MacPherson struts and an H-type rear suspension with a torsion beam and guide arms. All-wheel drive versions are equipped with a multi-link rear suspension, similar to the design of the Nissan Qashqai.
