I bought a Forester yesterday at the Sumotori Vladivostok car dealership. I came from Ussuriysk with one goal - to go back in a new car, I studied Drom and other car sites, read reviews of the new Forester for a year.

In the cabin with ready-made docks there was only one with a 2.0-liter engine in the VM configuration. This is the maximum speed for cars with this engine. There are headlights with a turn-on lighting function, leather, memory seats, warmers front and rear, heated steering wheel and much more.

To be honest, I didn’t think that after Toyota jeeps it would be possible to impress me with anything else, but it turns out I was mistaken. I'm impressed with the ride. Of course not a Prado, but in comparison with the X-Trails and RAV-4 it’s just a song. Really kind of elastic. She ignores holes, bumps, etc.

I was worried about the dynamics of the engine, but it turns out it runs and drives well. The combination of engine and variator is simply a song, in comparison with the X-Trail in the 31st body (I had one like that) - a huge difference. It’s too early to write about consumption, the mileage is only 130 km, but according to the computer it says 9 liters per 100 km. And this is during the run-in.

The salon is very comfortable and large, I thought it would be smaller. The trunk is also not bad, suitable for traveling to the sea.

So I became the owner of a Subaru Forester. The first emotions from the car are positive. I was pleased with the consumption on a car that had not been run in: 270 km, and the consumption was about 12 liters.

Oddly enough, Shumka is not bad. Even the 2.0 engine coupled with a CVT behaves well, the suspension is comfortable. So far, happy as a boa constrictor!

A small addition. The mileage is currently 5,600 km, everything seems to be fine so far. Since there is no snow yet, we drive on asphalt. Well, what can I say, the standard noise level of the new Forester is quite normal, the hum of the tires is not that much audible.

The vehicle was unveiled in early spring 2017, and the concept car was shown at the Geneva Motor Show in 2016.
