Locations for chopper in the game last day. Exact locations of all parts for the chopper

The first vehicle that becomes available to the player is the chopper, which will become available for crafting around level 20. Let's look at how to assemble a chopper (motorcycle) Last Day on Earth Survival.

Preparatory work

In order for a skill to be learned, there must be at least 2 knowledge points and a certain level. Next, go to the “drawings”, look for the icon and study the “chopper”.

On the right side of the menu you can see information on transport and the first necessary resources. The presence of these items does not guarantee the assembly of the bike, it is only preparatory work, that is, after collecting all the ingredients and clicking “create”, the motorcycle will not appear, only a field for setting a specific site will be displayed on the map, where you need to assemble the chopper. By the way, you can only place your “garage” on a 2 by 2 site; the flooring must be pumped at least once (article on how to install (install on the ground) a chopper).

What resources to use to build a chopper?

We will list all the necessary resources for assembling a motorcycle, focus on rare ones and tell you where they can be obtained:

  1. Scrap metal – stored in every second box or chest in all locations;
  2. Bearings, rubber bands, wheels and bolts - in boxes or bags, locations starting with orange;
  3. An engine part, a fork, a gas tank are the rarest items, they do not fall from zombies, they are found in boxes in red locations or in “incidents” when something falls from the sky, or in the wreckage of an airplane;
  4. The backpack and cables are the only items that can be crafted or dropped from bots.

Having collected all the items, click “finish”. That's it, the chopper is ready, all that remains is to get gasoline, but after a long period of searching, it should definitely be in your storage.

Summing up

Search components for this tool movement is one of the fun of games, most players will spend a month on it, but there is a goal. Since update 1.5.4, the developers assured players that vehicles can be fully crafted. That's all, now you know how to assemble a Last Day on Earth Survival chopper (motorcycle). Good luck!

The construction consists of two stages. The first is to reach level six and unlock a recipe for two research points. You also need to build a garage for your future motorcycle. For this you will need:

  • Five bolts;
  • Ten pine boards;
  • And five iron ingots.

How to install a chopper? Go to the section where furniture drawings are stored, select the garage and place on a wooden floor of the second level with an area of two by two meters.

Now you can start collecting equipment. Here are all the necessary details:

  1. 20 - follow the link to find out where you can find this important product (by the way, it is also used in the all-terrain vehicle);
  2. One fork;
  3. One gas tank;
  4. Twenty coils of wire - you have to connect all the parts together;
  5. Thirty bolts - useful for securing everything;
  6. Ten bearings;
  7. Four backpacks;
  8. Two wheels;
  9. Twenty rubber parts;
  10. Thirty units of scrap metal.

Ten units of not the most popular items. Some will say that finding all this is unrealistic. Don’t listen to such people - as of version 1.5.4, all components can be found in the vast world of the game. Another thing is that it will take a lot of time. It is much easier to buy a motorcycle for real money in the game store. But if donation is not your solution, then look at where and what you can find.

Gas tank

For the gas tank, you should climb into the Alpha bunker. True, you will have to spend your yellow or red coupons - the spare part will be found in the boxes. Of course, you shouldn’t expect to get lucky right away.

You can also find a chopper gas tank in purchased engineering boxes, although the drop rate is extremely small.

Fork

Most quick way- donat. It’s worth buying a “Box of Spares” - a box containing a bunch of electronics. Most likely, you will find a chopper fork there. But the cost of seven bucks does not inspire optimism...

There is still a chance of finding a fork in a humanitarian reset.

Wheel

Can be found in the forest. For more risky guys, there is an option to visit Alpha - to look for the wheel, you should look at the first underground level.

The remaining items are more or less standard and can be found in many places, so there is no need to write about them in detail.

Usage

When you are finished with the construction, the items “Painting”, “Pour/Drain Gasoline”, “Trunk” will become available in the motorcycle menu.

To board your chopper, go to the map, select your destination, and instead of the “Walk” or “Run” button, click on “Drive.” Travel time is the same as when running.

The gas tank holds 200 gallons of fuel.

When you arrive at the location, the motorcycle remains parked at the entry point.

Painting

To paint a chopper, you need patterns and paints.

You can get a random pattern (drawing) by completing the first level of the Alpha bunker.

Paints fall from boxes for coupons, in forests, from humanitarian cargo drops and from the motorcycles of AI players.

Petrol

The motorcycle runs on gasoline, so you can pour it into the gas tank and pour it into a bottle (this can be done with motorcycles that you find in the world).

To pour gasoline into the tank, place a canister or bottle of gasoline in the slot and select “Pour.” To drain the fuel, add an empty bottle to the slot and repeat (one empty inventory space required).

A canister of gasoline adds 25 units to the gas tank, while the canister disappears;

The bottle adds 10, the empty bottle will go into inventory.

You can see how much fuel is in your chopper on the global map - another bar will appear under the energy bar.

Don't confuse gasoline with fuel for other things, like campfires.

Baggage

Open the motorcycle menu while in the location where you rode it. There are three free slots.

At the back of the motorcycle there is space for an Infected Box. It is not in the game yet, but it is already known that it can be cleansed of filth by putting it in an acid bath. I wonder what will be inside?

Steal someone else's

Surely, the thought has already appeared in your brain: “Why spend so much time on construction if you can take and steal someone else’s motorcycle?” I won't lie, it would be cool. Fast.

Here, not far from your location there is an NPC base where there is a red chopper ready to be sent in Last Day on Earth: Survival. But here’s the problem: you can’t take it. Take it apart too. Impossible. The developers decided so. Kill the AI, please. But take his motorcycle? Guys, this is not possible. Even the Terminator cannot do this. But from this iron horse You can drain the gasoline. Well, at least it's something.

Chopper is the first vehicle you will unlock. It is available for crafting at level 14 for 1 research point. To create it, you will need a second level floor and free place size 2x2.

Assembly

Assembling a motorcycle consists of two stages: the first is the creation of the base, which will be assembled in your base, after which the second phase will begin, which requires some spare parts.

Stage 1

Required Resources: 10 pine planks, 5 iron ingots and 5 bolts.

Stage 2

Required Resources: 20 engine parts, 10 wires, 2 wheels, 30 screws, 10 ball bearings, 20 rubber parts, 30 scrap metal, 1 fork, 1 gas tank and 4 backpacks.

All-terrain vehicle

ATV is important vehicle for all survivors who want to travel further from home. To create it, you will need a third level floor and a 3x3 free space.

Assembly

As with the bike, assembling the all-terrain vehicle consists of two phases, the first of which is the base, and the second of assembling all the parts.

Stage 1

Required Resources: 25 iron ingots, 20 pine boards, 15 wires, 15 bolts and 10 electrical tape.

DIY chopper, or maybe buy a ready-made motorcycle? This question is asked by many motorcyclists, especially beginners, who have long decided for themselves that they will not ride a plastic sport, but a real one. iron motorcycle, which has a solid sound from the legendary V-twin rather than the sound of a screeching coffee grinder. In this article, which is more aimed at beginners in in an interesting way art of customization, we will look at what you need to make the right chopper with your own hands, and how to make many parts for it that will make it quite original and have a cool appearance.

How to build a chopper with your own hands is not so easy to write, since the styles of customized motorcycles (custom) are now great amount, and their steepness directly depends on the number of banknotes, the skillful hands of the master and the equipment he has in his garage. And when reading about the construction of a specific custom, some novice customizer may simply not be able to manufacture it, due to lack of funds and necessary equipment. Or he simply may not like the style of some custom, because there are a lot of styles.

Therefore, this article will not describe the construction of any specific custom of a certain style, and my recommendations in this article will be purely conditional, but I still hope they will be useful for novice customizers. In addition, when building any chopper, quite a lot of nuances may arise that cannot be described in one article.

But for a more detailed explanation, when making some parts for a chopper with my own hands, I will put the appropriate link, by clicking on which the dear reader will be able to study in more detail and detail the manufacture of some equipment or some part of a chopper, and successfully apply this knowledge at home in the garage. And so let's go.

What you need before you start making a chopper with your own hands.

The first thing you need to do before starting work is decide on a budget. After all, the right chopper, which in terms of workmanship and coolness can easily outperform a serial factory bike, requires certain investments Money. And the larger these investments, the cooler the finished custom will turn out.

Of course, with certain skills in working with metal and the availability of appropriate equipment, tools and materials, you can make a decent chopper without large investments. But many novice motorcyclists have neither the skills, nor the equipment, nor suitable materials. And a significant part of the money will be spent on high-quality tools, materials and some devices, which will be described below, and without which you can’t do anything with your bare hands.

And of course, the bulk of the money will be spent on buying the donor’s motorcycle; you can’t live without it. After all, you can’t make an engine and a frame with a number and relevant documents yourself, even if you have a super expensive equipment in the workshop (the frame can be made from scratch, only it will be numberless). Moreover, some parts from some donor motorcycles can be used.

This is the same engine, part of the frame with the number, front wheel(not always, but often used after modification), the front fender (of course, also redone), the front fork and other parts that, with certain skills and tools, can be changed beyond recognition.

In order to save a significant amount of money, you can buy a donor motorcycle in poor condition or damaged, the main thing is that it has the documents in order and that after the accident the engine and the number on the frame are preserved. The engine, documents and part of the frame with a nameplate or number on it are the main things you need to build a chopper, and everything else can be made yourself, or purchased from catalogs.

And after purchasing the donor’s motorcycle, before you start disassembling it, cutting it and doing anything with it, of course you must first re-register it in your name and register it. This will help avoid problems in the future.

The most common donor in most serious custom workshops are almost all models of motorcycles legendary brand Harley Davidson. Since they are considered to have the most beautiful engine and the sound of its exhaust.

And the possibilities for tuning even old engines are not limited, and most catalogs are designed specifically for motorcycles of this more than century-old American brand.

Moreover, some Harley models come from the factory with a springer fork, which is very popular when building custom bikes in the now popular old school (old school of customizing) or bobber style.

A little less popular motorcycles donors are choppers of four famous Japanese companies. And even despite the fact that the engines of Japanese choppers are more sophisticated in technically and more powerful than serial Harley V-twins, customs based on Harleys are more popular, because in such an art form as customization, engine power does not play any role, and the main thing is manufacturing various parts with a jeweler's meticulousness to detail.

In addition, modern Japanese motorcycle factories have still not managed to surpass the legendary and incomparable exhaust sound of the popular American V-twin.

Now, when building a chopper, one important circumstance should be taken into account - the more hand-made parts that are hung on the chopper, the cooler the custom is considered. The days of catalogs are over, and many even reputable custom companies abroad became popular and took the lead in the world market precisely after they began producing exclusive parts on their own.

And those devices that win custom championships do not have parts from catalogs at all, since every part, from the soldered frame to the perimetric brake discs, is made by hand. For such custom cars, only tires are purchased, and such devices are considered a work of art and cost big money. Here in Russia, they are only now beginning to understand this, but most of the choppers of some custom companies are still hung with some purchased parts from catalogs.

Although, of course, everything depends on the wishes of the customer, and many of them are not able to wait until every detail is made by hand, and many of us are not able to pay a lot of money for painstaking work.

Some choppers are built on the basis of donors with a Japanese inline-four, but they are not as popular as choppers with an American or Japanese V-twin, although there are quite interesting and high-quality devices. And an example of such a custom made from something old and ancient Japanese motorcycle, shown in the video below the article. But their exhaust sound is certainly inferior to the legendary V-twin.

Choppers with British engines from Triumph or BSA are also less popular, although in the 60s and 70s of the last century they were no less popular than Harley engines.

Regarding donors based on boxer engines domestic motorcycles, then at the dawn of the Russian bike movement they were very popular, and they are still popular among low-budget workshops. But the well-promoted custom shops have stopped working with them, since most wealthy clients are customizing more expensive and prestigious motorcycles with a V-twin.

But with a skillful approach and skillful hands, you can make a quite decent device with a domestic boxer (for example, like in the photo on the left), but it’s a pity that such devices in most cases are designed only for exhibitions, since the owners of such devices may have problems with passing technical inspection. Although this problem can also be solved, if the owner of such a device has papers with American presidents.

Tools and equipment for building a chopper.

It is impossible to build a decent chopper with your bare hands, and of course, before you start doing anything, you should buy necessary tool, which will be described below. And if you have skillful hands, metalworking skills and already purchased tools, it will be possible in the future to produce useful equipment that will greatly speed up work with metal and make the result of this work much better.

And so, what you need to purchase in order to be able to build a chopper with your own hands:

  • Of course, an angle grinder, popularly called a “grinder”.

  • An electric drill (a screwdriver (wrench) with a set of bits in the form of cap sockets wouldn’t hurt either).

  • Set of drills and cutters.

  • Set of taps and dies.

  • Semi-automatic welding machine (an argon-arc welding machine is even better, and ideally both would not hurt).

  • Metal scissors (preferably electric).

  • A jigsaw with a set of metal files won’t hurt either.

  • Emery.

  • Bormashinka.

  • Kit wrenches and socket heads with ratchets.

  • A set of special hammers and anvils for working with sheet metal (a set for body (straightening) work).

Listed above minimal tool, which should be purchased by beginners at initial stage. And for those who want to approach the matter more seriously and greatly increase the speed of work and the quality of work performed, they should gradually purchase or manufacture:

  • Slipway.

  • English wheel.

  • Useful attachment for the English wheel.

  • Zigmachine.

  • Pipe trimmer.

  • Pipe bender

  • Sheet bending

  • Grinder.

  • Compressor.

By clicking on the links published just above, you can familiarize yourself in detail with very useful equipment(and how to make it), and without this equipment it is impossible to make a high-quality custom. And even if it is possible, a lot of time will be spent working without these devices, and the quality of the finished products will be significantly worse.

And also, I highly recommend getting acquainted with adequate turners and milling operators at a nearby factory, and preferably those who are indifferent to alcohol. After all, most beginners cannot afford to buy and install a lathe and milling machine in their workshop, but they will be very necessary. Since most parts will have to be sharpened from scratch, starting with the gas cap and ending with longer axles, for wider wheels and their hubs.

Start of work on building a chopper with your own hands.

After purchase the right tool, purchasing a donor and its design, you should sketch out a rough sketch of the future custom and a work plan for the future.

And if you are planning to make a custom that is not in the style of a board tracker or cafe racer, or not such a custom as in the photo on the left, then the most common operation that many customizers do first is to expand the frame to accommodate a wider wheel. How to expand back frames to fit a wider wheel, I wrote here in and of course those who wish can click and read.

And many believe that the construction of a chopper begins with expanding the serial frame, but expanding its rear part by right size it will be very difficult if there is no ready-made wider rear wheel. Therefore, it is very advisable to first order or make your own a wider wheel of the width and diameter you need. And how to make a wider wheel with your own hands, and no worse than at a motorcycle factory, I wrote

And the serial frame itself, in addition to expanding its rear part, will also need to be modified. For example, in the steering columns of domestic motorcycle frames, there are still weak bicycle-type thrust bearings, which wear out very quickly and the handling of the motorcycle is, to put it mildly, lame. And the first thing you should do is replace these bearings with more powerful conical ones (such as in the Dnepr and Uralov wheels, but one size larger).

To do this, the cups of standard bearings are cut off from the frame, and in their place the cups are welded slightly larger diameter, into which the outer races of tapered bearings are subsequently pressed. I wrote more about this in an article about the geometry of motorcycle frames, and the link to this article is below in the text.

The frames of modern imported motorcycles already have more or less normal bearings from the factory, but even such frames have plenty of modifications. Since even imported serial frames are heavier and uglier than homemade frames, made from scratch, and from most production frames (especially Japanese motorcycles) have to be cut unnecessary details, to lighten the weight.

Of course, there are a large number of types of frames (we read what types of frames there are) and everyone chooses their own option. But now old-school style choppers are very popular, which have very light “hardtail”-style frames (meaning rigid), which do not have rear suspension and thanks to this they have beautiful classic lines of a triangular back. And such frames are the lightest.

And although it is quite uncomfortable to drive on our roads on such frames, beauty and style require sacrifice. Yes, and such devices are not designed for long trips, but for short rides around the city, or for moving the driver’s body from bar to bar. And choppers with such frames are very popular now.

And the most common operation when building custom cars in the old school style is cutting off the entire rear part, which has shock absorbers, and after that a homemade rigid part is welded (see photo on the left) and at the same time the frame is slightly expanded.

An example of such a finished converted frame is shown in the photo on the left. Although expanding the frame for old-school devices requires very little, since usually a rear wheel wider than 130 - 150 mm is not used on such devices.

Much more wide wheels used on high-tech style choppers (or with high-tech style frames - with a high steering column) and width rear wheels on such devices reaches 360 - 400 mm.

This requires a more global expansion of the rear part of the frame, and the rear wheel drive should also be moved to the side. I wrote about how to usually move the rear roller drive to the side in an article about altering the rear part of the frame (the link is above in the text).

As for the front wheel, here, too, its width is determined by the style, since, for example, wider front wheels are installed on bobbers (usually 130x90x16), and on classic choppers the front wheel is much thinner, and has a width of only 80 - 100 mm, and how The rule is a diameter of 21 inches or more. Although there are now quite a few styles in which wheels can be of very different widths and diameters. Everyone chooses for themselves the size that suits their taste and, of course, style.

By the way, you can make a spoked wheel much cooler than a standard factory one if you modify it standard wheel. A more exclusive hub should be machined from scratch (for more spokes and steeper brake discs), and squeeze out additional bumps on the rim for installation more spokes (how to squeeze out cones is written in the article about making a wheel from scratch, link to the article above in the text). And then you won’t need to buy a front wheel, unless of course you want to install a light-alloy cast one on your chopper.

Front fork.

The front fork can easily transform the appearance of any chopper, and can change not only the silhouette, but also ride quality your motorcycle. Although, again, when building a chopper, most customizers, as a rule, do not pay attention to handling and comfort, the main thing is the appearance, which determines the coolness of the chopper and which can cause significant excitement in gray city traffic.

Of course, in addition to the fork, the silhouette and driving performance of the motorcycle are influenced by the angle of the steering column, and to be precise, by the trail and rack, which should be taken into account when remaking the frame or making it from scratch. This topic is worthy of a separate article. The same article describes in detail the modification of frames of domestic motorcycles and the replacement of bearings with tapered ones.

The most popular type of modification of serial forks is to lengthen them with special inserts and replace the yokes with wider ones, or simply polish and chrome-plate the standard yokes. When lengthening the fork stays, so as not to lift the frame relative to the ground and maintain a beautiful silhouette and small ground clearance, the steering column angle should be increased. That is, to ensure that after installing a longer fork, the ground clearance (the distance from the lower frame tubes to the ground) remains the same as it was.

But most often the ground clearance (clearance) is lowered by a factor of two, and in addition to the stronger tilt of the fork, the lowering is also affected by the alteration of the rear part of the frame (moving the rear wheel axis higher than it was in stock). With all this work, it is very important to maintain the clear geometry of the steering column and the entire frame, and such alterations can be carried out correctly only if you have a slipway (the link to the article about the slipway is located above, in the list of tools and devices).

So installing an extended fork is not so simple and will entail a number of serious alterations to the frame itself and its steering column, taking into account the correct angles (rack and trail - there is a link about them just above, about the angles of the steering column).

But now old-school and bobber-style motorcycles have become very popular, in which the fork (usually a springer) does not extend, or extends only slightly. But changing the angle of the steering column is also quite often used on these devices.

Indeed, with a greater angle of the steering column, even with a short fork, the silhouette of the custom bike improves significantly (it becomes more rapid). At the same time, the ground clearance is only a couple of centimeters and it becomes difficult to drive on our roads with such a device. But still, for many this is not important, because beauty requires sacrifice.

In addition, many reputable customizers are not satisfied with the serial springer, and many make it even cooler (if you apply the skills of working with hot bending metal and blacksmithing), and an example of such an exclusive fork is shown in the photo on the left.

There is no point in writing about the choice of fork and which one is better and which one is worse, since it all depends on the style, taste and what kind of silhouette of your custom you want to get in the end.

Chopper attachment.

Of course, the frame, fork and wheels have important role in shaping the silhouette of a beautiful chopper, but no less important factor, which determines its coolness and the skill of the customizer is the custom attachment (tanks, fenders, glove compartments, oil tanks and all kinds of small parts, popularly called “tsatski” or “goodies”).

And it is the hitch that requires a lot of tools and equipment for its manufacture, as well as certain skills in working with sheet metal and skillful hands. And most of this equipment is designed specifically for working with sheet metal, that is, for giving a flat steel sheet a certain convex shape.

And without special equipment, the links of which I published above, it is almost impossible to make something worthwhile from sheet metal with your bare hands. And even if it is possible, a lot of time will be wasted. Moreover, during production, you should take into account an important circumstance: the more original and different from others the attachment parts are made, the cooler your chopper will be.

There are a great variety of shapes of tanks, wings and other parts of the attachment, and every time something new and different appears. But novice customizers, when building their chopper, should not initially chase complex shapes, but start with the simplest shapes.

In addition, style also plays an important role here, since, for example, for old-school style choppers (old school) or bobbers, a simpler gas tank with a flat bottom is required, as in the photo on the left (I wrote how to make such a gas tank here). And for custom ones in the techno (high-tech) style, you can make a more complex tank (I wrote how to make a more complex tank with your own hands).

For the so-called choppers free style, a gas tank with a concave bottom, the manufacture of which I described, may be suitable. Well, if anyone is interested in seeing how I made a more complex tank, then watch the video below, which I published on my channel as a guide for beginners and in order to fill the gap on this topic on the Russian-language Internet. I have no secrets and I think it will be useful for beginners to watch this video, divided into three parts.

Of course, beginners should first try to make a simpler classic tank, and as they gain some experience, move on to more complex products. But still, even when making a more complex tank, in the video below, there are some tips that I hope will be useful to novice customizers.

By the way, on my channel suvorov-custom (on YouTube) there are other videos on working with sheet metal and I hope over time, as I have free time, I will try to publish more such videos, and in order not to miss new videos, do not forget to subscribe to channel.

As for the wings, of course, like the tank, they should also match the style. And for example, bobbers or radical choppers may not have a front wing at all, and the rear wing is usually very short. But it’s still better to make a wing for a chopper from scratch, since altering a standard wing does not always coincide with the style of the future custom one. In addition, an exclusive wing made from scratch will be one and only, and this will add coolness to it.

By the way, some exclusive fenders, such as those in the photo on the left, will not perform their main function of protecting against dirt at all. But the main thing is a cool appearance, and protective functions for many, they are not important, since such devices are designed for exhibitions, or for traveling short distances in dry weather (from bar to bar).

I wrote how to make a wing for a chopper yourself using an English wheel, and you can read how to make a wing without using an English wheel machine, but using a zig machine.

Well, we should say a little about the glove compartments, which allow you to place the chopper’s electrics, or carry some minimal tools. On some custom cars (for example, in the same old-school style), a cool glove compartment or oil tank is not at all difficult to make from the body of a fire extinguisher, a gas mask filter, or from a German gas mask case, or you never know from anything that already has the shape of a cylinder and will allow beginners to get by without rollers (to roll the sheet into a cylinder).

And such products will not look bad at all and, moreover, original, especially if the edges of the cylinder are cut at a certain angle (for example, as in the photo). And ready-made housings of the above-mentioned products will save time and effort on the manufacture of many original parts weights from scratch. The main thing here is a flight of imagination, and of course skillful hands. This is why such an art form as customization is interesting.

Whether or not to hang a leather canopy on a chopper is up to everyone to decide for themselves. But in long journey it definitely won't hurt.

Well, under the article I publish a useful and interesting video that proves that with with skillful hands and a bright head, you can make an excellent custom even from an ancient Japanese motorcycle, and the engine of this motorcycle is not a twin at all, but an in-line four. But it doesn’t spoil the look of the custom at all.

This video once again proves that you can make a unique custom even from trash, and I hope that this video will be an incentive for beginners and will serve as an impetus for them to start further work.

Well, I hope that this article will at least a little help beginners build a chopper with their own hands, and maybe in the near future, you will approach this interesting business more seriously and put it into production, good luck to everyone!

First of all, we note that you will need to open the motorcycle drawing. You can do this after reaching level 6 - you will have to spend 2 crafting points. After this, you can find out what parts you need to find to assemble your own motorcycle. In total, you will have to find over 100 different spare parts. Their list can be found below:

  • 20 engine parts;
  • 10 wires;
  • 2 wheels for a motorcycle;
  • 30 bolts;
  • 10 bearings;
  • 20 rubber parts;
  • 30 units of scrap metal;
  • 1 motorcycle handlebar (cog, fork);
  • 1 motorcycle gas tank;
  • 4 basic backpacks.

You will also need to create a motorcycle frame on the floor of your shelter. To do this, the floor must have a 2nd level. The structure itself will occupy an area of 2 by 2 meters in the room. To build it you will need 5 bolts, 5 iron ingots and 10 pine boards. In general, you will need a lot of materials and now we will tell you where you can get them.

How to find parts for a chopper - where to look for the gas tank

Engine parts are items of medium rarity that can be used to craft not only a motorcycle, but also an all-terrain vehicle (ATV). They don't often appear in locations with a green danger level, so we recommend looking for them in the Bravo or Alpha bunkers. They then fall from boxes dropped as humanitarian aid. If you don’t feel short on money, you can buy a box of spare parts in the in-game store for gold coins, which can be purchased with real currency.Wires (cables) are widespread items that can be easily found in boxes located in locations with a green danger level.Motorcycle wheels - you can try to find them in chests located in locations with a yellow danger level, but with 100% probability they are found in the Alpha bunker on the 1st lower level in the last room. If you don’t feel short on money, you can buy a box of spare parts in the in-game store for gold coins, purchased with real currency.

Bolts are another fairly common material, often found in boxes located in locations with a green danger level. If you want to speed up getting them, we recommend visiting areas with a yellow or even red threat level.

Bearings - you will need these parts to assemble not only a chopper, but also other equipment, including an all-terrain vehicle, a truck and a helicopter. They cannot be called rare, since they often fall out of boxes in green locations, but we still advise you to visit yellow regions or try to get to the humanitarian cargo.

Rubber parts - along with bearings, they are universal spare parts used to create mass various devices. However, they are much less common, so collecting 20 units will take a lot of time. As a rule, they can be found in locations with a yellow threat level. They are also found in the Bravo bunker and in the crash sites.

Scrap metal - at first glance, useless, but in fact it has a lot useful properties. First, it can be smelted into iron ingots. Secondly, it is necessary for crafting vehicles. You will need 30 units of scrap metal. Fortunately, it is quite easy to find - you just need to open boxes and chests in locations with a green threat level. Plus large amounts of scrap metal can be found on the corpses of other survivors.

Motorcycle handlebar - this item will not be easy to detect, since it this moment At the time, it is found in only one place - on the 1st lower level of the Alpha bunker.
